My Students

My school serves students in grades K-5. We are a STEAM magnet school and have students from all over the city, some riding the bus for up to an hour each way. We teach students to persevere through any challenges. Our students and staff maintain a growth mindset at all times, creating a thriving learning environment in which mistakes are celebrated as opportunities to learn. We are all eager to learn, develop, and enhance our minds to reach high goals and exceed equally high standards.

My Project

This document camera will help visual learners by allowing me and my peers to model strategies. Since the pandemic began, we have been implementing all forms of technology. It will also allow students to display their work to their classmates.

A document camera is a tool that will project student work to the class in real-time.

My students deserve every tool out there to help them learn, but unfortunately, there are limitations and budget restrictions. When our document camera broke, we have resorted to recording our work on videos and then sharing our videos. We would love a way to share our learning live.
