Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in our class are kind and happy kids who enjoy learning and coming to school. They support each other and work hard to keep our space a safe place.
We are a Title I school and strive to make our school a special place for all.
Students and staff support and work together each day!
The goal is to have enough resources so students aren’t left waiting or stuck in a tough situation. These small items will help them learn and grow. These kids are navigating life as a 5th grader and it can be tough. I hope these items will help us create a calm, safe space where they have opportunities to refocus and reflect. Fidgets, floor seats, and board games will help us do so.
We are a diverse community of students, teachers, staff, and families. This is what makes us great! I am proud to be a part of this school family.
