I had let them know that we received a grant from kind and generous donors for a plant unit. They would be learning about the plant life cycle and plant characteristics, planting their seed(s), and journaling the process. They enjoyed putting their soil and seeds together and excited to picking out their journal in their favorite color. And most exciting of all, they LOVE new markers. \r\n\r\nIn addition to learning about plants, this project allows the kids to be excited about something and participate in something that is theirs and fun to do. I had 100% student engagement at the onset of the project. I expect this interes to last through the end. \r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible for our classroom.
