My Students

My students are fun-loving and curious 4 and 5 year olds. Some enter kindergarten from a head start or pre-k, while others come to school without previous formal education. No matter what, they’re excited to learn!

Our classroom is a place where students will learn and grow for two years through kindergarten and first grade.

It is amazing to watch them bloom from uncertain 4 and 5 year olds to confident 6 and 7 year olds!

They are special boys and girls, and I know that you would love them just as much as I do!

My Project

My students have been so lucky to gain access to a class set of new iPads through a New York State Grant. We are able to share the class set amongst all three sections of kindergarten. Unfortunately, the grant did not include funds for headphones.

Students need to be able to hear the iPads in order to benefit from their academic value.

With 22+ devices playing simultaneously, headphones are essential to allow the students to focus.

Parents and I have provided as many headphones as we are able, but many of them are not meant for children. This causes the headphones to be ill fitting (even painful) and to break often.

Please help my students experience the full benefit of these iPads by helping them hear them safely.
