My Students

At our school, we are in the process of beginning a program based on the Leader In Me by Stephen Covey. We are working on teaching students the seven habits and how to be effective people in the world. Our school is a Title I school that has about 80 percent of the students on free and reduced lunch. Many of our come from many different backgrounds and countries. We work together on a daily basis to share with each other the differences that make us all special.

We work to empower students each and every day to reach their goals.

We discuss how it is important to pick a goal and we work hard to meet each goal that we make. It is our belief that each student is and will be a leader every day.

My Project

These headphones would help provide students with headphones, because most students do not have the resources to purchase them with their own income. Our students would use these on a daily basis for everyday use such as to listen to our Science books if needed, to listen to reading websites, to listen to Math sites, and for Smarter Balanced testing in April.

We know that we are a class that will use these resources with respect and will treat them as their own.

These headphones would be used from year to year. In advance, we thank you for opening up your heart to meet the needs of our classroom and to have an impact on the lives of our students. Thank you again for your generosity!
