My Project

Our school's Theatre and Choral programs have been growing over the past few years because of the amazing and talented students that choose to be a part of these performing arts programs. Through the growth of these programs, we have been fortunate enough, through donations and fundraising, to update some of our older sound equipment. With these updates, we have been able to train students on the proper care and keep of the equipment, as well as train students to operate the equipment. As we begin to prepare for our upcoming Spring musical and concerts, we are finding that we are in need of additional upgrades to help produce these events.

I want to give my students more sound equipment and furniture so they can continue to learn the technical aspects of theatre, and so they can be heard loud and clear on stage.

With the donation of a newer mixer, it has allowed us to have up to 12 channels of mics, which means that students would not have to share mics with the purchase of an additional set. I would also like to upgrade the furniture from what is currently in the booth. The two tables I would like to get are adjustable to height and one would be dedicated to our sound equipment (mixer, microphone transmitters, desktop computer, etc.) and the other to our lighting DMX boards. I am also asking for stools that will allow our light and sound techs to see out of the booth. With your help, the performing arts programming and theatre technical learning will continue to shine!
