My Students

My fourth and fifth grade students are learning about video production and I would like them to learn how to use a Flip video camera to record and edit clips that can be shown at school.

Students at our inner city, public elementary school are eager to be exposed to new technology and are excited to learn new things.

These fourth and fifth grade girls and boys have great spirit are looking forward to interviewing teachers, staff and students and recording the different events that occur at our school.

My Project

Through your donation, you will give our students knowledge and experience by giving them the opportunity to be proficient in using a video camera, learning how to appropriately interview our school community as well as learning how to edit and upload these movies onto our school website. It is also my goal that we will use this camera to visit our local Veteran's Hospital to interview our veterans which will provide our students with invaluable experience and also help them to learn more about our veterans and our history.

Our video production students would be so grateful for your help!

It is our goal to teach them how to use this technology before they move on to middle school. Students will not only use the Flip camera to learn themselves, they will in turn teach other students. The camera will be used for years to come and your donation will help to promote 21st Century Learning and to educate our students in newer technology. Thank you for considering our project!
