Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am writing this proposal for my high school vocal students who participate in our Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Choirs. Our high school serves a large urban area and has a high percentage of students that are low-income.

Our choir department has many students who are interested and dedicated to our school music program.

They are willing to go the extra mile to show support and promote the choir program around the building. Many of our students receive vocal instruction that they could never experience outside of the school setting.

My Project

Our students are active in promoting our school choir program. Creating attractive and colorful bulletin boards to support our choir program is one of the ways that our creative students give back to our program. We are requesting the purchase of an electronic letter cutting machine to improve the quality of our presentations. Giving my students access to these kind of creative opportunities will help encourage student involvement as they think of ways to help support our choir program.

You can make a difference in the quality of the learning of my students.

Please consider being a partner in their learning through building the resources that they will use to be highly successful in vocal music. Giving my students access to these vital resources will make a significant difference in how they experience music at the high school level.
