it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My partner and I both teach Science in a Science classroom. We have many sinks. We would love to make one sink in each room available for filtered water.
We have students who ask for a drink daily, especially when the weather is hot or the room is dry.
This would provide students with not only a drink, but a reusable water bottle to help keep single-use plastic out of our ecosystems. This is one of the topics we discuss with life science. We talk about climate change and ways to improve. One of those ways is to use a reusable water bottle.
