Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This season, the mountain bike (MTB) team is traveling overnight to attend a few races. One is at Exchequer, LaGrange. The other two are at Six Sigma, Lower Lake. Previously, the team stayed at hotels, but hotels are expensive and the hotels near these courses can be sketchy.

To ultimately save money during our out-of-town races, we are investing in camping equipment and are hoping you'll help.

The riders are enthusiastic about camping! They've been practicing setting up the tents donated through DonorsChoose.

We've had a lot of fun as a team figuring out how to use this equipment! Now we need coolers for food and water and a heater for the pit zone at the colder courses.
