My Students

Imagine going to work every day and loving every minute of it.. My students are the highlight of my day. Their eagerness to learn, enthusiasm for life, and can do attitude inspire me daily.

While Covid-19 has caused a few bumps in the road my students are ready to get back in the classroom and keep building lifelong skills!

Everyday students are trying new things and building on their strengths.

Our classroom is filled with students that have many different personalities, experiences, and viewpoints. However, even if we are all different we are community of learners that celebrates each other. The students in my class are my colleagues and just as I teach them they teach me. We take pride in learning and growing together.

My Project

Covid-19 has forced many students to participate in online and virtual learning. While some students are thriving during this time many are not. This summer our school will be hosting a Summer Academy to support students and strengthen their skills.

The materials in this project will help provide students with the opportunity to play, learn, develop social skills, and strengthen their vocabulary and oral language.

Our classroom will be turned in to a summer campsite for the month of July and we want students to be able interact with materials in the dramatic play center that will make them feel as though they have been on a camping trip of a lifetime as they learn about letters, numbers, and get ready for Kindergarten.
