Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This year I am teaching third grade remote learning soon to start hybrid. My class consists of twenty-seven general ed and special education children. I am lucky to teach some of my former students who I taught in first grade. This helps with remote learning. The children have never been on TEAMS and are new in learning to navigate the program. Some of my students do not have access to a laptop. I want them to be able to learn and not fall behind on instruction especially when hybrid starts. It is definitely a learning process for all.
The children greet me at 7:35 a.m.
every morning on teams and wait for me to admit them. I instruct them live most of the day. I am truly looking forward to their success this year with the many challenges that face them with remote learning.
My Project
Our school is using a hybrid platform for instruction. The webcam will be used to support everyday remote lessons. The webcam will be used for recording or live instruction. I would love to record vocabulary and math review lessons so children can revisit for homework. Children will be able to see me clearly on the screen with less shadows.
I am asking for ink cartridges to support my students learning and my own personal budget.
We all know ink is expensive so any donation to help engage children in hybrid learning is appreciated.
