Camera for Student Motivation

Help me give my students access to an instant camera so they can hang a photo of themselves on their certifications in the hallway.

My Project

Students are given the opportunity to earn a variety of certifications in the CTE classes. When a CTE student earns a certification, the certification is displayed in the hallway. This increases student morale in a health way. It provides students with a healthy amount of competition, where everyone that tries hard can win. Students get really excited when they see a photo of themselves in the hallway.

The instant camera with adhesive photopaper will allow the students to put a photo of themselves on their industry recognized certification.

The CTE teachers were able to determine that including a photo of the student on the certifications helped increase the number of students that passed certification exams, when compared to hanging the certifications without student photos.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
