My Project

I've been looking for a title to go with our 7th Grade World History unit on the medieval Silk Road and The Many Assassinations of Samir, the Seller of Dreams, is my dream come true.

This book somehow puts together all of the geography, people, and trade goods into a captivating story about love, family, and wonder.

The illustrations are charming and the chapters are short enough for kids who were raised on screens. Help me get them old-fashioned story telling that will take them back to the year 1100. And that way, their future will be one with more literary skills and appreciation.
