Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second-grade students are inquisitive, thoughtful, kind, and resilient. Many have personal challenges that they are working through, while navigating the community and world around them. I would like to provide a classroom environment that is calming, welcoming, and accommodating. My hope is that having flexible seating options will allow my students to continue to build their stamina, productivity, and love for learning throughout the day.

I hope to update our classroom with wobble seats to provide flexible seating options for students to learn in positions most comfortable for them, and to nurture focus, calm, and well-being.
