My Project

My preschool classroom is an inclusive classroom and has children with special needs in it. Many times throughout the day, my special needs children as well as my typical child may need some quiet alone time.

I would like to create a calming space in our classroom where they can go when they need some time to themselves to feel safe and comfortable.

This special area will need to feel inviting, warm and safe. Items such as bean bags and light covers will help with that along with other sensory items.
