This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are wonderful young adults who are faced with many struggles. They are stress by the many demands life has placed on them especially since COVID. They enjoy coming into my room because they feel that it is a place where they can relax and decompress. I want to create a calm and fun environment for them. Adding a bulletin board, colorful garland and calendar to mark important events will help make the space a wonderful t for them to learn and grow.

These resources will help me to continue to create a space that is warm and welcoming to all.

School is a place where learners should come and feel safe. I want me room to feel like their home away from home. These resources will help me to do just that!
