With the colored and white paper and the classroom printer I brought in, we have been able to make all the copies we need for projects, quizzes, reference sheets, and other important assignments.\r\n\r\nStudents quickly learned that colored paper signals something important, which has helped them stay more organized and aware of which tasks carry more weight in their grade. It has also made classroom routines smoother. When I ask them to take out a study guide or reference sheet, they know exactly which colored page to look for. They truly appreciate how easy it is to find and use these materials.\r\n\r\nThank you for making such a real and noticeable difference in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758846313330,"projectUrl":"project/supplying-student-success/9752420/","projectTitle":"Supplying Student Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rodriguez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4378075_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1490559904739","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/judy-rodriguez"},{"teacherId":8352170,"projectId":9717583,"letterContent":"Dear Donors,\r\n\r\nOn behalf of my students, myself, and our entire WHS community, we extend our deepest gratitude for your generous support of our classroom project. Thanks to your contribution, we now have a large, high-quality map displayed prominently in our classroom—a resource that is already making a meaningful difference across disciplines and for all learners, especially those in our special education program.\r\n\r\nAs a special education teacher, I work every day to create an equitable and engaging learning environment for students who often face challenges that extend beyond academics. For many of them, abstract concepts can be difficult to visualize. A map offers a concrete, visual anchor that makes history, geography, science, and even literature more accessible. \r\n\r\nThe map has already become an integral part of our lessons. In social studies, students can follow the journeys of explorers, trace migration patterns, and better understand the relationships between countries and regions. In global history, they are using it to see the spread of civilizations, conflicts, and cultural exchange over time. In U.S. history, students are locating key battle sites, territories, and routes that help them comprehend the story of our nation. Geography, often difficult to grasp from textbooks alone, now comes alive. Students eagerly walk up to the map to point out locations, ask questions, and make connections.\r\n\r\nThe impact extends into the sciences as well. In Earth science, students can examine tectonic plate boundaries, fault lines, and patterns of earthquakes and volcanoes across the globe. In environmental science, they can discuss climate zones, biomes, and the impact of human activity on different regions. \r\n\r\nBeyond academics, the map has become a tool for equity. Many of my special education students learn best through visual and tactile experiences. Having a large, detailed map available at all times levels the playing field, allowing them to participate in discussions and activities alongside their peers. \r\n\r\nYour generosity does more than provide supplies—it provides opportunity. My students need to see the world, and a map is fundamental. Visual input is so important to so many of my students. Please know that your donation is being used daily and with great care, appreciation, and purpose.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and supporting their learning journey. This map will serve them not only this year but for many years to come, touching the lives of countless learners. We hope your small gift will be subtlety but profoundly impactful.","fullyFundedDate":1758290550642,"projectUrl":"project/see-the-world-in-social-studies-and-in/9717583/","projectTitle":"See the World, in Social Studies and in Science","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Forker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8352170"},{"teacherId":4378075,"projectId":9187288,"letterContent":"The colored paper has been amazing. We have weekly participation rubrics and the different colors make it so much easier to track the weeks. \r\n\r\nIt has also been very helpful being able to see quizzes and tests on colored paper so they are easy for the kids to identify its importance (50%of their grade). Reference sheets have been easier to find in their folders too. \r\n\r\nThe markers are great for grading. The kids love picking the color to use.
