Calming Soothing Stuff

Help me give my students some calming chairs, weighted vests, sensory fidget toys, and calming weighted stuffed animals.

My Project

I have discovered this year my preschool students need more sensory input. A few students could benifit greatly from the use of a weighted vest and weighted toys to calm them down when they get over whelmed. One of my students has bit me already and is trying to bite me again and my paraprofessional in our classroom. He is in need of a chewy necklaces and other stimuations. Another students constantly rocks in her chair, so I figure the rocking chairs would be a great safer alternative for her and others. Two of my students do not speak yet, so the talking dinosaur with many programed words and pictures should be a great start.

At this age we expect more from them than ever before and we need to give them the tools to succeed.

Not all students are the same and they don't all need the same things. All the students can benifit from the fidget toys, as well as the age appropriate toys. At this time, I do not have all the best material to serve all my students so I am asking you to help me help them.
