My Project

Helping students regulate their emotions is one of the most important, but often not thought about, aspects of teaching in an elementary school classroom. Young children are learning to navigate their big emotions and often need support and guidance in doing so.

As you can imagine, our calming corner materials go through a lot of wear and tear.

We are in desperate need of new materials for the upcoming school year to best support our students emotional needs. Along with materials to help regulate emotions, healthy snacks are also very important to helping students remain focused while at school.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
