This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a wonderful group of TK students who are learning to manage their big feelings. What they need is a safe space in our room to be able to decompress and get a handle on their emotions.
These materials will help complement our social-emotional learning materials, and help me create an area in the classroom where they can go to have a quiet space.
This will help them be ready to engage in our learning activities in the classroom. The tree seats are a comfortable and space saving way to allow the kids to sit in their calming corner. The cuddly puppy can be a comforting friend for my students.
Please help me create a calm quiet area for my students in their classroom.
