Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Furniture and the rug will go in a corner with bookcases and a fountain to help my students relax when they need a mental health break. I also will have a charging station for their chromebooks and phones to use at nutrition and lunch, and enough seating for a small group to work. I think all of this will make my classroom both more welcoming for students and create more space for them to help manage the stressors and issues which come up during the day and which they carry into the classroom every day.
