Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help my students build social emotional skills and learn ways to de-escalate. Our calming area was idealized with the sole intent of being a safe space for a students to go to when they feel their emotions are running too high and they need to regain their emotional and physical control.

This calming area will provide students with a safe space to process their emotions in a healthy way.

Your support will help my students emotionally and physically and to help them feel safe and comfortable in our classroom.
