This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me create an area in my classroom where students can relax after a job well done or just process adolescence. Middle School is the time my students really struggle with the stresses of the world in addition to puberty. This space will contain a variety of items, in the hopes of exposing my students to different ways to regulate their emotions or just find a new hobby. Since I am technically a science teacher, many of these materials are also related to science, so I am able to use these materials for multiple purposes!
