Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In UTK/TK, my students are learning about their feelings, how to express themselves in a safe manner, and how to support the feelings of others. This helps our students establish a positive relationship with expressing themselves and supports them in their journey as amazing humans.

The SEL books will help students to identify feelings and to find ways to express themselves.

The mirrors will support students to recognize how others feels based on their expressions. The light tiles and the floor tiles will help students to re-center in an interactive way as well as with the help of the fidget toys.

I'm looking forward for my students to use this area to help establish a positive class culture and help them create positive dynamics of socialization.
