This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My sweet students are 4 years old. They are a busy bunch who are learning how to be away from home and work within a school community for the first time. It can be tough and this can sometimes lead to frustration and overwhelming emotions. Even the colorful walls and busyness of the classroom can cause overstimulation for these little people. Having a calming area where students can go to take a break and calm themselves and get in touch with their emotions would be an amazing addition to our classroom.
