My Project

I teach an amazing group of first graders in a neighborhood of Los Angeles. They are curious, creative, and learning how to deal with big feelings in a calm and constructive way.

A beautiful calm colored rug and cushions will help provide a place for our class to come together for community circle to discuss comfortably how we feel and listen with our hearts to others.

The rug we have now has stains and rips and is not a very inviting place. Hopefully, with your generous help our classroom can have a serene, calming place where all students feel comfortable and at ease.
