Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting are needed in our calming corner where students go take a break when they are feeling stressed or emotionally dysregulated to practice self-regulation and coping skills. The calling corner gives my students a safe space where they can take a break and then return to learning with minimal disruptions to themselves or other. The sensory toys will help my students focus and regulate their emotions. In addition, students can also have the option of coloring so that they can relax and be calm.
