Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me get these materials to my students! I teach students in a special day class. There are a variety of social emotional needs in my class. I am trying to make sure social emotional learning is a big part of my teaching. I want my students to learn Mindfulness strategies and have a comfortable space in the class to read a book and regulate their emotions.

These books, pillows, and fidgets will make the biggest difference in my class.

They will help my students feel comfortable and they will enjoy reading these new books about mindfulness.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
