Calm Corner Inspired by Nature

Help me give my students a window bird feeder, bird food, window decals, laminating sheets, and dry erase markers to give my students a calm corner that is inspired by nature.

My Project

I want to create a calm space in my classroom for students to connect with nature. One of the requested bird feeders and food will attach directly to our classroom window for students to see birds up close. The other bird feeders will be placed on a shepherd hook near bushes by my classroom window. The decals will be placed on the windows as well to keep birds from crashing and harming themselves. The dry-erase markers and laminating sheets will be used to create calm-down activities for students to reuse when needed. With these items, our students will have an area to escape to if they need a little time away. Sometimes, we all just need a break.

This calm corner will give students the space they need to regulate.
