Calm, Confident and Independent Learners

Help me give my students tools to build independence and emotional regulation through organized learning trays, calming fidgets, and sensory materials that support focus, confidence, and success in our special education classroom!

My Project

My students are learning how to recognize and regulate their emotions each day, and our classroom resources play a big role in supporting that growth. They love using tools like fidgets, sensory materials, and hands-on activities that help them stay calm, focused, and engaged. These resources allow my students to take ownership of their learning by choosing what helps them feel ready to learn.

My group of kids is becoming increasingly independent, and they can benefit from these materials because they promote self-regulation, organization, and confidence.

The trays and storage items in my wishlist will help create a more structured and accessible environment, allowing students to find and use materials on their own. By supporting this project, you’ll help provide tools that not only foster independence but also nurture emotional growth - skills my students will carry with them far beyond the classroom.
