Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students struggle with their emotions and regulating their feelings. To assist my students, I would like to create a calming area in my classroom where students with emotional needs and ADHD can have a place to ease anxiety and emotions. I requested a tent, rug, reading pillows along with calming lights, to anchor my area in my classroom where students can easily access in a time of decompress. By having all these resources, students will have an area where tehy can self regulate their emotions and take a breather when needed.
