Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year, I have been moved to a new classroom with lots more space for a reading area and a calm down corner for students. Decorating and furnishing a classroom three times the size of my old one has taken a lot of resources and now I need help to make my cozy areas comfortable and inviting for students.
This cozy floor furniture will make students feel comfortable curling up with a book or while taking a few minutes break to rest or regroup on a stressful day.
We all need a little soft escape when stressed, and my students will appreciate having some seating options away from the usual desks and chairs we use during instructional time. You can help make some soft landing places for teens during school and for my after school club by assisting with purchasing these soft floor chairs.
I know students (and the occasional staff member) will love having a safe, cozy place to unwind.
