This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to request your help in funding a chromebook cart and a set of scientific calculators for my 9th grade math class in Boston.

While our school was able to get 1:1 chromebooks for all of its students, the funding was not enough to get every classroom a cart for the computers.

Our chromebooks are used daily, and need a safe place to be stored so they can last for years to come.

We also are in need of a classroom set of calculators. Having access to these calculators will allow my students to have a hands-on approach to learning and a deeper understanding of complex mathematical concepts.
