This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In Mrs. Eckles' classroom, they’ve embarked on an exciting venture: a coffee cart project! Teachers can purchase from a student-made website and the students will have various responsibilities to ensure that they are caffeinated! Here's the twist: the funds raised from this project will go toward an end-of-the-year Deaf Education celebration at Fun N Stuff! 🎉

Learning Objectives:

Entrepreneurship: Students learn about running a small business.

Personal Responsibility: They take charge of taking the orders from the website, making coffee, logging sales into an online spreadsheet, collecting the cash and giving change if needed, and delivering the coffee to the teachers.

Good Citizenship: Students learn how to contribute to the school community by delivering the coffee to teachers and staff in a polite manner.
