This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My guitar class learns on acoustic and electric guitars. A hundred students meeting daily adds up to a lot of wear on our guitar cables. Replacing every cable as soon as they show signs of wear would be expensive.

I want my students to learn how to repair their instrument cables and keep them working for longer.

To do this, we'll need some new tools and supplies. Soldering tools to repair the wire connections, replacement parts for the pieces that might break and need replacing, and large lengths of cable to create our own.
