One of the first things my students will learn about is how to tune their guitar. Things like temperature and humidity can affect a guitars tuning, so it is difficult to predict how long each guitar will take to tune. Right now, we have one tuner in our classroom. It'll take a really long time if we have to pass the tuner around and take turns with it. If every student has a tuner, they can tune themselves up, and we can dedicate a larger portion of our time to making music together!
