This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A well functioning classroom is an organized classroom. Each year that I teach I learn more and more about what makes my classroom a well oiled machine.

I want to always have clear systems in place to help put my students and myself at ease.

Our classroom library is organized by genre and characters. There are buckets for each category with labeled books so students know where to put them back.

This helps create a sense of independence amongst my students and ease for myself knowing they have structured freedom within our classroom.

I have also included binders and sheet protectors. Our new generation of teacher resources are all online and downloads. That being said, many things need to be printed and placed into binders to be readily available to copy and present during lessons. I will be using these items to organize our new Science of Reading Small group lesson plans.

I have also included glue sticks because we are always working on hands on projects!! Thank you for coming by to read our project!
