Hello! I teach six levels of Spanish, encompassing around 250 students, many of whom are part of the International Baccalaureate program here at my high school. I work with a large variety of students from city/urban areas inside of Richmond, Virginia, spanning from 9th to 12th grade.
My students include standard, highly motivated, and special education kids who are mostly underprivileged and minorities such as African-Americans, Middle Easterners, and Hispanics.
They are enthusiastic about learning, but they do not have access to all of the tools and resources to be as successful as they could be. Please help me give them the education they deserve!
My Project
I know this is an expensive request, but, I promise you, it is necessary! My current work computer loses Wi-Fi connection at least 3 or 4 times a school day, glitches and lags very often, doesn't show graphics or play sound well, and is hindering my ability to give my students an A+ education.
The MacBook will redefine the education my students are receiving in my class.
They currently are having to deal with loss of information due to multiple issues stemming from my laptop. Without this, my students will have to try to put together bits and pieces of the lesson that they hear and see (in bad quality).
