My Project

My 10 students with moderate cognitive impairments love to learn! We are working on addition and subtraction but need a little (or a lot of) additional help, and using calculators is exciting! Understanding how to operate a calculator is a life long skill that will assist our class in solving basic number skills.

We are in middle school where doing things that our peers do is cool!

Having the exact same calculators for everyone with larger numbers and a bigger window screen, will help us to learn how to add money, tell the differences with temperature, and knowing less or more! We are excited to learn this skill and can't wait to get started!
