Help me give my students a button maker and pin back buttons as a creative way to put learning front and center.

My Project

After a few years of limited activities we are back in full swing this year! We are looking forward to fun collaborative activities. With a button maker and buttons, students will be able to share their learning and advertise their clubs.

I plan to have club members make their own buttons that they can wear at Open House, Arts and Music Night to identify who they are and to help encourage others to join.

I also plan on using them in classes. For example, each 8th grade science student will choose an element from the periodic table and create a button that explains why that element is important. Students will learn not only from the creation of their own button but by interacting with other students and their buttons.

I think the possibilities are endless and I look forward to the creativity of our students!
