This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students learn the best by conducting investigations that help them make sense of phenomena. I love seeing them engaged in lessons that transform them into active inquirers and learners.

The butterfly kit will give my fourth-grade student the necessary tools to conduct a meaningful investigation to help them understand insect structures and their functions at a deeper level.

My students will set the investigation, make daily observations, create charts, make predictions, and analyze the caterpillars' transformation phenomenon. They will use a science journal for daily entries to keep track of the process.
