My Project

My students are amazing and deserve fun and engaging learning experiences that take them outside of the classroom. They come to school every day eager and ready to learn. They enjoy participating in hands-on learning experiences.

Springtime is the best time to teach about life cycles and ways to enjoy the outdoors.

During springtime we explore new life that emerges. This time of year allows us to have a Butterfly Garden in our classroom. This project brings such enthusiasm in the classroom. Students are engaged in learning by seeing the process and learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. Every morning they are excited to see the changes and learn about metamorphosis. They will learn about how to care for living things and habitat needs.

Once our butterflies emerge, we let them free and enjoy the outdoors. The bubbles, chalk, and beach balls will be given as presents to bring home and motivate my students to go outside with their families and play. This project will will be fun for the children and teach them valuable lessons.
