This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kids love learning about science. As spring is here, what better way to help them enjoy it then by growing both butterflies and flowers from the beginning?

Raising both butterflies and flowers will help my students love nature and the Earth they live on.

I want them to learn about lifecycles and grow butterflies and flowers from their beginnings. They will watch and learn as caterpillars become butterflies through all of their stages. They will also plant flower seeds, taking care of the flowers themselves to help them grow. They will learn that flowers make oxygen which they breathe.

I would love it if you could help my kids to enjoy these fun parts of science that help make their world beautiful.
