My Students

My students are part of a richly diverse school located in the heart of the city of Greensboro. As a school community, each day we work hard to support the individual needs of ALL our students. Our school is a wonderful school located in Greensboro, NC. We are a diverse learning community of students from all backgrounds. Our students speak a splendid variety of languages and they come from over 20 different countries. We educate Kindergartners through 5th graders, and we also have an phenomenal Pre-K program.

My Project

This butterfly larvae project and the materials to hatch them into butterflies is the highlight of our school year for over 400 students. Our entire school can experience this life-changing event. Our students get excited about science. They learn how nature works and why we should take care of our earth. Our students do not have opportunities to learn about our world due to living in poverty with parents working to make ends meet. This project makes school interesting and fun. Please give any amount you can to help us fund this project. So many children's lives will be enhanced.
