My Project

First graders are naturally inquisitive! I strive to create a student centered classroom, where the students are motivated to ask and answer their own questions about the world. Providing these young readers with high quality, "just right" books is essential for allowing all students the opportunity to investigate topics of interest. I would love to spread my excitement and eagerness for learning with these fresh faces.

After many years teaching an upper elementary grade, I am expanding my own learning with a move to first grade!

Information from the science fields is constantly changing. It's important to provide reading material that contains current information. How wonderful it would be to welcome my learners to a new year, in a new grade, with new books!

Mrs. Mitchell will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 16.
