My Project

“But make it FASHION!” intends to expand upon the opportunities afforded to students in our new Fashion course. Influenced by creations showcased on TikTok and Instagram, we are looking to purchase equipment and materials for students to create their own textiles for use in projects. Throughout this project, students will use technology to design their own textile patterns for use in various projects. We intend to teach the students how to use the design software to create sublimation prints that they can permanently transfer to fabric for use in creating garments and accessories. They will also be able to use the Cricut machine to design and cut vinyl designs to add to these garments and accessories, and potentially use them for screen printing as well.
