Sometimes there's nothing better than a bowl of fresh pasta. After having perfected ribbon pasta (linguine, fettuccine, pappardelle), my students are looking to broaden their horizons and prepare different shapes! Currently, we only have the necessary equipment to prepare ribbon pasta and are asking for equipment to create more. Because our culinary arts classes continue to gain popularity and expand, we are asking for additional supplies to be used in our kitchens. The students will be able to work at the same time using the KitchenAid Pasta Rollers for our stand mixers as well as the French rolling pins that are becoming more common in kitchens. We'd also like to attempt creating shapes like garganelli whose process is made faster with the bicicletta cutting wheels and textured board. The biscuit cutters will help us cut out perfect circles to create filled pastas such as cappelletti and curlurgionis. When we're ready to eat, we would love the Farberware soup pots to cook our pasta and the spider strainers to fish out our noodles. Buon appetito!
