My Project

My students love creating messy science, sensory and art projects. In our special education classroom much of our learning comes from measuring, pouring, mixing, gluing, painting-you name it!

They also make many of their own sensory materials that require large quantities of materials.

We rely on these projects to learn important life skills such as teamwork, turn taking, math and science concepts and how to contribute to a community. We are almost out of everything!!! We are also very messy and the kids love to clean up after they are done making their mess, so the cleaning supplies are running low as well! Many of the go-to sensory materials are broken or missing parts so a few new sensory toys will also make a huge difference in our classroom. I love these activities with my students and the projects keep coming!
