Help me give my students a fun, education recess time. With Wisconsin winters being bitter cold, our students have indoor recess often! Board and card games give them time to have fun but also learn as they play!

My Students

My students are so eager to learn about the world around them. They all have a story about struggle but have such a positive look on life. Our school is 97% poverty-stricken with very little means for learning outside of the classroom. My students come to school every day, ready to tackle their books and reach new heights!

My Project

Wisconsin winters can be harsh, especially for our children who do not have proper outdoor winter clothes. At Riverwest, we have many indoor recess days. Our children are eager to play and learn at the same time!

Board and card games give our students the fun of playing while they are still learning!

Picking cards from a set of fifty, matching just two is a thrilling accomplishment for anyone. A teacher knows that this simple act of selecting two cards is helping a child with focus, memory and attention to detail.
